Our Love Story (Bride’s perspective)

My husband and I first met on February 22, 2025, at our evangelism zone, where we regularly go out to win souls. It was his first time in our zone, and from the very beginning, his dedication and genuine passion for God and His Kingdom stood out.

Our relationship was purely centered on evangelism and service. We greeted each other warmly, and occasionally, he assigned me certain responsibilities within the zone. Nothing more, nothing less. Just Kingdom work.

A few months later, during a church brunch, I was contracted to cook for the team and our guests. A few weeks after that, I received another cooking engagement. Shortly after, he reached out, proving, as they say, that the way to a man’s heart is truly through good food 😄.

He shared plans about a garden he was setting up, and asked if we could partner to run the kitchen in the garden. I told him about my Travel Consultancy business (my main business), and we agreed that I could manage both. We scheduled an ‘interview’ for the following week, but when the day came, it felt nothing like an interview. It felt more like the beginning of a beautiful love story 😂.

We talked for over five hours, and he kindly offered to take me home afterwards. Even after we got to my house, we stayed outside talking for almost two more hours.

Later that night, he sent a message about how he had gotten to know me beyond “Sister Comfort,” and I shared how much I enjoyed our conversation.

From that day on, we kept talking, like two people who had known each other for years.

What started as working together gradually became something deeper. God was clearly at work, turning co-laborers into life partners 🥰.

After a while, he asked me to be his fiancée, completely certain he wanted to marry me. He met my family, and I met his, and from the very beginning, there was love, warmth, and acceptance on both sides. Shortly after, we got engaged. Barely a month later, we were traditionally married.

Beyond his leadership and faith, my husband is an intentional man. One of the sweetest and kindest people I know and have met. I truly married the best man on earth. My odogwu 🤍.

Now, we’re counting down to forever.

God has been intentional and present in every step, every decision, every season. This is truly a divinely orchestrated love story 🩷
