Our Love Story (Groom’s perspective)

I had always looked forward to marrying the love of my life, but never really prayed about it until 2021. Like a lot of men, marriage was never really a prayer point to me, because I felt it would happen somehow.

But in 2021, I realised from the teachings of my pastor, The Reverend Biodun Fatoyinbo, that it was important to pray about one’s life partner, and so I started to pray about it. My daily prayer was not complete without the mention of a life partner.

One thing I was specific about in my prayer for a life partner was to marry a woman of God. Not just a woman of church, but a woman of God. Because I figured if a woman is really of God and in God, everything else will fall into place.

I met my woman of God for the first time on the 22nd of February 2025.

God had been nudging me to resume evangelism since 2023, but I kept making excuses, until February of 2025 when I decided to just do it.

I joined the zone and started serving, and in the course of service was interacting with other members of the evangelism zone, which included Sis. Comfort.

I very soon noticed her dedication, consistency, and commitment to God and His Kingdom. By my judgement, she was a woman of God indeed. Nothing quite crossed my mind at that time. I saw her purely as my sister in the LORD.

Fast forward to some months later, I was setting up a new business and was looking for a chef to partner with, so I spoke to her about it, seeing as she could cook up a storm (my God!). I knew this because of the brunches she had catered for the weeks leading up to that time.

We set up a meeting, which was supposed to be an interview to confirm partnership compatibility. Some 10 minutes into the supposed interview, the conversation took a different turn, and went on for hours on end. We eventually, reluctantly ended the conversation.

I offered to drive her home, so I could get a chance to talk to her some more, and as you can tell, the conversation continued in the car.

She sent a message after a while to confirm I got home safely. I replied in the affirmative, and quickly mentioned that I had gotten to know her beyond the Sis. Comfort of COZA Evangelism. She replied warmly, and the conversation took off from there.

A few days later, I asked her out on a date, and after our first date, I prayed some more about her and got confirmation from God that she was my life and destiny partner, and things really picked up steam from there. There was really no need to waste time after the confirmation.

Now, we are traditionally married, and counting down to our church wedding, which seems like an eternity away. But we are patiently waiting and preparing, knowing that we are #NotAlone.

Apart from giving my life to Christ, marrying Sis. Comfort is the best thing that has ever happened to me. God really customized her for my destiny, and I am very certain it will only get better from here!

She is truly The Entire Love Of My Entire Life (TELOMEL).

Thank you Jesus!
